The new Speedplay sole from DMT is directly compatible with Speedplay and Time four-bolt pedal systems without the adapter plates required to use these systems with conventional three-bolt pattern soles. This gets your foot closer to the pedal allowing a more efficient transfer of power to the pedals. Newer Time pedal systems using three-bolt cleats will need to use the LOOK three-bolt sole.

• When mounting Speedplay cleats directly on the shoes it is imperative to use Speedplay's Stainless Steel Wear Protector Kit, part #13290. Failure to do so may damage the sole and will void the warranty.

• The all new upper is constructed from an ultralight microfiber material which makes it extremely breathable.
• It features a mesh lining to increase air-flow to keep your feet cool and dry.
• A soft padded collar with additional clearance for the ankle offers freedom of movement without putting pressure on the sides of the foot.
• The anatomically designed padded external heel counter holds your foot securely preventing slipping of the heel in the shoe while the soft padded tongue prevents pressure on the forefoot.
• The toebox has been made a little taller to increase the volume without adding any additional width.
• The RAM+VTR (Rotary Activated Mechanism + Variable Tension Regulator) closure system securely holds your foot without creating pressure points or hot spots.
• Unlike other wire closure systems, the RAM+VTR is activated by a lever as opposed to a dial, thus making the adjustment quicker and easier while allowing greater adjustability for fitting.
• Wire closure systems adjust the entire upper, rather than just where the straps are attached.
• Since the wire will pull through the entire closure system it will conform as well to your forefoot as to the midfoot.
• The entire RAM+VTR system is quickly and easily replaced should it require attention.
• The CX Carbon Fiber sole is constructed with nine layers of Toray MR60 Carbon Fiber
• The thickness of the sole will vary along the length of the sole, but at the critical cleat interface it is quite thin with a thickness of 3.5 mm giving a very low foot-to-pedal distance.
